A reception in honor of Sir Ronald Storrs was given here last night by the Jewish community of Jerusalem. Representatives of the Communal Council, the Vaad Leumi (National Council of Palestine Jewry) and of the Sephardic communities delivered addresses at the reception. Sir Ronald delivered a lengthy address in which he stated that a British official in Jerusalem faces a unique problem in addition to all the other problems which Palestine presents. Mistakes are unavoidable, he declared. He is leaving Jerusalem as a friend and wishes the utmost success for the Jewish national ideals, which he will help everywhere, he said.
