A returned Nazi-looted painting is expected to fetch up to several million dollars when it is auctioned off in London in June. The landscape painted by Austrian expressionist Egon Schiele was looted from its Viennese Jewish owners by the Nazis. The 1916 work, Krumauer Landschaft, or “View of Krumau” — also known as “Little Town on the River” — will go up for sale at Sotheby’s after three years of extensive research into its provenance.
