A Russian Jewish leader wants criminal charges brought against a diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church for allegedly distributing a book that includes excerpts from the infamous anti-Semitic tract “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” according to the Union of Councils for Jews in the FSU. Mikhail Oshtrakh of Yekaterinburg says the church there is distributing copies of the book, which claims there is a Jewish conspiracy to rule the world.
