Alfred S. Guggenheimer, prominent New York Jewish philanthropist, died on Monday night from heart disease. Mr. Guggenheimer, who was born in Rochester, was 63 years old. Mr. Guggenheimer was a director of the Home for Hebrew Infants in the Bronx and an officer and supporter of many other philanthropic institutions. He was president of the United Manufacturing Company, a paper firm, and vice president of the Fiberloid Corporation. He is survived by his widow, two children and two brothers.
