A senior Fatah member was sentenced Monday to 14 consecutive life terms by an Israeli court. Nasser Awis, who served as deputy to West Bank Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti, was found guilty last week of involvement in planning, funding and carrying out a series of terrorist attacks in which 14 Israelis were killed. Barghouti is currently on trial for the murder of dozens of Israelis in a series of terrorist attacks.
