A settler rabbi called on Jewish youth to set up unsupervised militias to counter terrorist rocket attacks on Israel’s South. “We should have allowed the youth of Sderot, Ashkelon, the western Negev and anyone fit to bear arms,” Rabbi Yisrael Rozen wrote in the bulletin of the Zomet Institute, a think tank he heads in the West Bank settlement of Alon Shvut.
