A spontaneous outflow of expressions of support for Israeli Premier Menachem Begin has been received in recent weeks at the information department of the Consulate General of Israel in New York, the department reported. Support for Israel’s peace program has been communicated in the form of petitions, letters and telephone calls. The bulk of this support has come from Americans in the Metropolitan area. However, communications have been arriving from points as far away as Florida and the West Coast, officials said.
