“I had the great pleasure of seeing the production of ‘Voltaire’ last night.
“It is a beautifully presented portrayal of an incident that transpire toward the end of the life of a great thinker who dared much for human rights. Episodes such as the public burning of Voltaire’s books as seditious, are little reminders that the Twentieth Century has developed nothing new in the land of Voltaire’s friend, Frederick the Great. Liberals of today may well find new sustenance in this production.”
