A stone plaque was unveiled to honor the memory of Rome’s Jews, whom the Nazis deported from the city on Oct. 16, 1943. Mayor Francesco Rutelli joined about 50 Jews, including Holocaust survivors, at the city’s Tiburtina train station, site of the deportations.
