The Lubavitch movement will be honored in Sao Paulo by having a street named “Rua Habad.” The City Council approved the decision of the Mayor of Sao Paulo to name the street after it was proposed by Councilman David Roizen. The Lubavitch synagogue is located on the street but there are no Jewish residents.
