A strike of Hebrew butcher workers in Boston was settled yesterday through the efforts of Anna Weinstock of the conciliation division of the United States Department of Labor, it was announced by Max Hamlin, spokesman for the butchers.
According to the new agreement, the butchers will receive a 25 percent increase in wages and a forty-eight hour week. It was further agreed that all workers would be hired through the union.
