A student’s mother student is suing a Jewish day school for allegedly failing to protect her son from a bully. The lawsuit filed by Ruth Pilachowski accuses the Baltimore Hebrew Congregation Day School of negligence and seeks $3.5 million in damages, after Pilachowski’s 8-year-old son allegedly was “routinely harassed, threatened and attacked” by a first-grade classmate, the Baltimore Jewish Times reported. School officials have denied the charges and vowed to fight back.
