A suicide bomber blew himself up in Netanya, killing three Israelis and wounding at least 65. Following the bombing, several bystanders attacked Arab workers in the area, injuring one seriously. Israeli Prime Minister-elect Ariel Sharon condemned the bombing and said it highlights the need for a national unity government.
