A Swiss-based interfaith foundation presented the Hebrew Bible, Christian Scriptures and the Koran to Pope Benedict XVI. The gift of the three holy texts in their original languages was meant to honor Benedict’s efforts with the Jewish, Christian and Muslim communities, said the Foundation for Interreligious and Intercultural Research and Dialogue.
