A Swiss panel of historians will release its findings about the nation’s wartime refugees policy at the end of the year, more than a year later than originally planned, according to a Swiss newspaper. Switzerland expelled more than 30,000 Jews during World War II, most of whom died. At the same time, however, the Alpine nation provided haven to some 25,000 Jewish refugees, who survived the war together with Switzerland’s 20,000 Jewish citizens.
