A top German official and a German bank chairman are flying to Washington to meet with U.S. and Jewish officials in an attempt to resolve Holocaust-era claims. The trip by German Chancellery Minister Bodo Hombach and Deutsche Bank Chairman Rolf Breuer comes a week after a historian for Deutsche Bank said the bank had helped finance the construction of the Auschwitz death camp.
