A tourist vessel broke free from its anchor near the Israeli city of Eilat and was blown toward shore, causing serious damage to rare coral reefs. The boat, carrying 52 tourists and four crew members, had been on a routine excursion. Naval police rescued all passengers. But, nature reserve officials believe that the damage caused to the reef was irreversible.
