A U.S. court ruled in favor of an inmate who wants to wear a yarmulke and receive kosher food in jail. On Dec. 2, the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta unanimously upheld as constitutional a law passed by Congress that requires state prisons receiving federal funds to allow inmates to exercise their religion.
