A U.S. judge denied a request by an accused Nazi collaborator to discontinue his trial. The judge ruled this week that proceedings to revoke the citizenship of Iwan Mandycz could continue, despite Mandycz’s claims that he is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. U.S. officials say Mandycz, 83, was a guard at the Trawniki and Poniatowa concentration camps during World War II.
