A U.S. judge is deciding whether to proceed with a class-action lawsuit brought by Holocaust survivors against France’s national railroad. The lawsuit calls on the railroad to pay damages for shipping some 75,000 Jews to Nazi death camps, but lawyers for the railroad argued in recently filed papers that the railroad cannot be sued in an American court.
