A U.S. judge ordered Hamas to pay $116 million in damages for killing two Americans in Israel. Family members of Yaron Ungar and his wife sued Hamas in March 2000 under the Anti-Terrorism Act of 1991, which allows relatives of American victims of overseas terrorism to seek damages in U.S. courts.
