A U.S. senator gave a speech on the Senate floor expressing support for Holocaust education. “Six decades after the smoldering flames of the Shoah were extinguished, we are still confronted with the reality that the embers of anti-Semitism could today be fanned into a consuming fire,” Sen. Sam Brownback (R-Kan.) said in his April 27 speech.
