A U.S. synagogue used an Elvis Presley impersonator and Presley’s songs to retell the Chanukah story. The program at Beth Sholom Synagogue in Memphis, Elvis’ hometown, featured students from the local Solomon Schechter Day School singing “Blue Suede Jews” and “Heartbreak Kotel,” a reference to Jerusalem’s Western Wall, The Associated Press reported.
