A Ukrainian Jewish politician who lost a 2002 mayoral election in Odessa won a court case to have the vote invalidated. On Monday, a court in the Black Sea port ruled that Mayor Ruslan Bodelan’s victory had been falsified, and ordered the election committee to declare Eduard Gurvitz mayor.
