A video released by the parents of missing intern Chandra Levy mentions Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life. In the video, Levy’s mother asks Chandra if she’s been to the local campus Hillel, telling her, “That’s where you go to meet a lot of wealthy people — wealthy Jewish people.” Reacting to the video’s release, Jeff Rubin, a spokesman for Hillel, told JTA, “We would welcome Chandra Levy or any Jewish student to Hillel.”
