A week of mourning was proclaimed here at a meeting held last night under the chairmanship of Prof. Gustav Klausner. A protest meeting will be held at B’nai Amoona Congregation. Telegrams were sent to Palestine and London protesting against the Arab indignities and the failure of the English officials to protect helpless Jewish men and women.
The Executive Committee of the Grand Lodge Progressive Order of the West issued an appeal to its lodges to contribute to the Palestine Emergency Fund.
