A woman piloted a commercial airplane in Israel for the first time. Smadar Schechter, 29, flew an Arkia Airlines plane from Tel Aviv to the Red Sea resort of Eilat. She said she was not insulted by some expressions of skepticism made by male passengers on the plane.
