A woman professor was named to the chair of Jewish and general philosophy just inaugurated at the Bar Ilan University. She is Prof. Amado Levy-Valensi, who has been with the university since 1969, and has a Ph.D. from the University of Paris. The chair, named after Dr. Yehoshua Mazur, a prominent B’nai B’rith officer was endowed by Samuel Lunenfeld of Lausanne and his son-in-law Reuben Kunin.
