In the wake of the debate surrounding Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ,” Elizabeth Goldhirsh, 25, is funding a writing contest on essays on the shared history and values of Judaism and Christianity. The first-place winner of “Reaching Common Ground” will receive $25,000.
