More than 175 active chapters of Aleph Zadik Aleph, junior order of B’nai B’rith, will celebrate International A. Z. A. Day in cities of the United States and Canada December 16, it was announced at national headquarters here today.
The local programs will be marked by open meetings, banquets and radio broadcasts. Classes of new members will be iniated.
Aleph Zadik Aleph was founded in May, 1924, at Omaha by Sam Beber, now the president of the supreme advisory council. His object was to provide a medium for organizing Jewish youth in model fraternal groups devoted to building Jewish character. Since that time it has grown remarkably.
