Aaron Sapiro, the noted labor lawyer who sued the late Henry Ford for $1,000,000 in 1927, charging him with libeling Jews, died here Tuesday at the age of 75.
Mr. Sapiro filed suit against Mr. Ford in connection with an article signed by Mr. Ford which appeared in the “Dearborn Independent.” an anti-Semitic publication award by Ford. The suit was finally settled and the paper ceased publication. Mr. Ford later apologized publicly to the late Louis Marshall, president of the American Jewish Committee.
