Dr. Julius Christian van Oeven, newly named Minister of Justice, told the Dutch Senate today that he had no reason to accuse the Belgian authorities of collaborating in the disappearance of 14-year-old Jewish war orphan Anneke Beekman.
He was urged by Liberal and Communist deputies to do everything possible to find the girl since the situation as it now stands has endangered the prestige of Dutch justice Five persons, all Catholic laymen or clerics, have been convicted of spiriting the child out of the country rather than surrender her to the Dutch Jewish community as ordered by the court.
