Abe J. Greene, recently selected as Paterson’s outstanding citizen, will be awarded the Veritans’ gold medal at ceremonies in the Central High School autitorium Thursday evening, March 8.
Mr. Greene was honored by the local civic groups because of his work in settling the dyers’ and silk strike and in setting up a board which has aidded in preventing walk-outs and strikes. Governnor A. Harry Moore, of New Jersey, and Mayor John V. Hinchliffe, of this city, will represent the State and city at the presentation ceremonies.
