About 30 Arab civilian prisoners serving prison terms for sabotage or subversive activities were released Sunday and handed over to Egyptian authorities at a UN checkpoint on the Balooza-Kantara road. They were the second group of civilians returned to Egypt since the Yom Kippur War. A third group is expected to be released shortly. The operation was conducted under the auspices of the Red Cross whose representatives had ascertained previously that the prisoners wanted to go to Egypt with their families.
