About two dozen members of the Greater Washington Jewish Community Council demonstrated in front of the French Embassy Friday, distributing leaflets saying that “Liberte, Fraternite, Egalite for Terrorists Only.” Three of the demonstrators were admitted to the Embassy where they told Claude Epervrier, Counselor of the Embassy, that the American Jewish community was outraged that Abu Daoud was released on a technicality. Epervrier said that his government welcomed the expressions of concern.
