Abraham Feinberg Elected President of Israel Bond Organization

Abraham Feinberg was elected president of the Israel Bond Organization at a meeting of the board of directors of the Development Corporation for Israel, it was announced here today.

The Israel Bond president has had a leading role in major enterprises for Israel as well as in Jewish communal and cultural activities in the United States. He is president of the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science, and chairman of the board of trustees of Brandeis University.

General Moshe Dayan, Minister of Agriculture of the State of Israel and former Chief of Staff of the Israel Army, is coming to the United States next month to participate in the 1960 Inaugural Conference for Israel Bonds, which will formally launch this year’s nationwide campaign for the sale of Israel bonds, it was announced today. The conference will be held at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami from Friday, February 26 through Sunday, February 28.
