Abraham Goldberg, veteran American Zionist leader, a well-known journalist and author, and at the time of his death on Friday, head of the Jewish Council of the Russian War Relief, was eulogized today at funeral services at the Temple B’nai Jeshurun here, attended by more than 3,000 persons.
Among those who landed Mr. Goldberg’s contributions to Jewish life in the United States were Rabbi Israel Goldstein, president of the Jewish National Fund; Judge Morris Rothenberg, representing the Zionist Organization of America; Harry Grayer, Grand Master of the Order B’nai Zion, of which the dead man was the founder and first secretary; and Louis Levine of the Russian War Relief. Burial was at the New Montefiore cemetery.
