Abraham Harzfeld, the subject of a new biography, “The Village Builder,” by Simon Kushner, was the guest of honor at a reception today given by the Herzl Press at the Jewish Agency building on the occasion of the publication of the book in English. Mr. Harzfeld, a pioneer Israeli who went to Palestine in 1914, was praised for the leadership role he played in the development of agricultural villages in Palestine And Israel. Dr. Emanuel Neumann, chairman of the Herzl Press, presided at the reception.
