Funeral services were held today for Abraham Levitt, prominent real estate and building executive and Jewish communal leader, who died yesterday at the age of 82.
Born in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, Mr. Levitt was a pioneer in the mass construction of low-priced homes. He was president of the Founders Society of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and was chairman of several fund drives for the United Jewish Appeal.
