Absorption Minister Nathan Peled disclosed last night that 13,000 immigrants arrived in Israel during the first three months of this year compared to 9000 during the corresponding period last year. He did not say what percentage of this year’s immigration was from the Soviet Union. Jewish emigres from Russia accounted for about two-thirds all immigrants arriving in Israel in 1971.
