This serves as a reminder that the economic situation of Jewry in Eastern Europe is very desperate. In the efforts of American Jewry to relieve the tragic situation of the distressed Jews in Germany and the German Jewish refugees in other lands, the sufferings of our people in other lands should not be forgotten.
