According to the Passport Ordinance recently published at Amman, permanent Palestine residents are permitted to enter Transjordan free, if they come directly from Palestine. Foreigners are admitted to the country only if they are in possession of a British visa. Those who enter the country without a visa are liable to L. P. 100 fine or one year’s imprisonment and deportation.
