Ussishkin, presiding, eulogized victims of the pogroms in Rumania. Emil Schmorak submitted a Zionist Executive budget of ?18,500. No resolutions were adopted.
Meanwhile, the Central Committee of Hebrew University Students issued a statement warmly appealing to students to volunteer for service in the British forces. The university’s medical center was visited by ex-Premier Felice Marjan Skladkowski of Poland, accompanied by leading Polish military physicians.
