The active opposition of the Central Committee to the Calendar Reform project was unanimously approved by the Annual Conference of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Switzerland, which has just been held at St. Gallen, with the President of the Federation, Dr. Dreyfus-Brodsky, in the chair.
Dr. Dreyfus-Brodsky, who represents Swiss Jewry on the Jewish Agency Council, said that a decision on the future activity of the Jews of Switzerland on behalf of Palestine would have to be deferred until after the Zionist Congress and the ensuing session of the Jewish Agency next month.
