Active participation in the boycott against German-made goods by the powerful millinery trades of Chicago was assured when the Associated Millinery Men of Chicago adopted a resolution declaring “we endorse the stand taken by the Chicago Committee for the Defense of Human Rights Against Nazism.” The Chicago committee is carrying on an active and successful boycott campaign in Chicago and the Middle West against German-made goods.
Samuel Budwig, president of the millinery men of Chicago, and Lewis Buechler, president-elect of that organization, headed their committee which drew up and recommended adoption of the boycott resolution. Other members of the committee are O. C. Olsen, Harry Armstrong, Don Wolf, Harry Goldberg and Ralph Klemperer.
