Four states were represented by the ten members of the executive committee of the National Council of Jewish Women which met for two days last week at 625 Madison avenue. Administrative problems which will be brought before the national board meeting April 10 to 13 were discussed. The ## for the adult education ## which the council is ## were examined.

Those who attended were Mrs. ## L. Goldman of New York. ## Mrs. Sydney M. Cone of ## vice-chairman; Mrs. ## H. Arons and Mrs. ## D. Pollak of New York; ## Jules Hart of Yonkers; Mrs. Jacob Loeb Langsdorf of Philadelphia; Mrs. Herman B. Levine of West Englewood, N. J.; Mrs. Benjamin Marvin of Hollis, N. Y., and Mrs. Leonard B. Schloss of Washington.

Two publications were issued by the council during the week. One is a revision of “How to Organize and Educate for Peace,” in which the full peace program of the organization is outlined, and the “Guide on Legislation,” containing a working plan for legislative chairmen, summarizing bills which the council is sponsoring.

BRONX WOMEN’S RALLY

The rally of the Bronx section of the Women’s Division of the Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi League to Champion Human Rights will be held Monday evening at the Royal Medical Club at 2021 Grand Concourse. Co-chairmen of the affair are Mrs. Louis Myers and Mrs. A. Mason. The speakers will be M. Maldwin Fertig, Mrs. Frank Harris and Mrs. Julius Ferber. More than 500 women are expected to attend.

BROOKLYN COUNCIL

The Brooklyn section of the National Council of Jewish Women is working in the schools throughout the city in an effort to prevent deafness, Follow-up work is done by the women in seeing that the children who are reported as hard of hearing receive the proper medical treatment from a physician or a clinic. Children with progressive deafness are placed in lip-reading classes. The work is under the direction of Mrs. John Smith.
