The case against Meyer London, Inc., charged with selling matzohs of less than the specified wight, in violation of the Agriculture and Markets Law of the State of New York, was adjourned to April 30 when it was called yesterday before Magistrate Samuel M. Katz in the Third District Court, Second Avenue and Second Street.
In the last few weeks scores of summonses have been issued against manufacturers, jobbers and retailers. Those against the retailers have been dismissed on the ground that there was no evidence of fraud. The Weights and Measures Division of the Department of Markets, under Deputy Commissioner Alexander Hamilton, is investigating the charges.
