The Ozet, society for the settlement of Jews on the land was severely criticised at a meeting of the society held here. The charge was brought against the administration that while the membership increased by 2,173, the temper of the work diminished. A deficit of 6,000 roubles is expected to be shown.
The commission which was to investigate the charges brought against the representatives of the Ozet that they mistreated the settlers in Bira-Bidjan was ordered to postpone its work. Reports from Chabarovak, it was declared, claim that most of the charges were false.
