Admiral Horthy Confers Highest Hungarian State Distinction on Jewish Pianist

The Regent, Admiral Horthy, has bestowed the highest State distinction on M. Emmerich Unger, the blind Jewish pianist, who recently won first prize in the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw.

M. Unger is at present on a tour in the Baltic countries. The Hungarian music world is preparing to give him a big reception when he returns to Budapest.
