Adolph Lewisohn, Jewish philanthropist of New York, celebrated his eightieth birthday on Monday with the presentation of a gift of $30,000 to endow a fellowship at the William Holland Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute at Johns Hopkins University. The gift will bear the name of its donor, it was announced by Frank J. Goodnow, president of Johns Hopkins University.
